Belonging to Quaker Voices on Mental Health is about joining a Quaker community that meets together “to know one another in that which is eternal”. We have an inward and an outward purpose: both inner (within ourselves), and outer with Local and Area Meetings, Britain Yearly Meeting, other Quaker Recognised Bodies, and beyond.
Friends join QVoMH for a variety of reasons. They may have a general interest in mental health, have lived experience of mental illness, be caring for someone with lived experience of mental illness, be a professional working in the field of mental health, be representing a Local Meeting or other group …… everyone is welcome, whatever their reason for joining.
Please use the 'Contact Us' form and choose “1. Membership" to send us a message with your name and your Local and Area Meeting.
At the moment there are three active Special Interest Groups:
More information about SIGs is here.
To help keep Quaker Voices on Mental Health going, we ask members to contribute financially, if they feel able to.
We suggest members consider making an annual donation of perhaps £10. Payment details are on the 'Contact Us' page.
However if this is difficult, less or none is fine. Or more than £10 is equally fine.
