This is an open group which meets on-line 2-3 monthly.
It is an opportunity for people to come together in a Quaker context to share insights, experience and reflections stimulated by material which can be linked to mental health and well-being issues.
All people and their experiences, however unusual, are valued and accepted being held in the Spirit.
Recognition, acceptance, open exploration and support are all valuable for mental health. This group offers all of these.
Each session begins with the introduction of a theme for the evening. Our last theme was ‘the seasons’.
We use words and poetry, images, or other material for this introduction.
We share as a whole group and in smaller groups, usually of five-six people. We have found that there has always been space and time for everyone to contribute as they wish.
The session is framed in worship and seems to retain a sense of worship and worshipful respect throughout.
A few notes are circulated afterwards, often including material suggested by participants.
All are welcome to join. Please use the 'Events' page to find out about the next session.
